Volunteer Opportunity: Event Photographer

About the role

We’re looking for a creative and thoughtful volunteer to help capture the essence of our events—without compromising the privacy and comfort of our participants.

This is not traditional event photography. Our community is built on trust, so all content must be captured discreetly and respectfully, with no identifiable faces.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-person events
• Capture photos and short video clips that reflect the feel of the event (hands, group shots from behind, materials, atmosphere, etc.)
• Edit content into short, engaging clips for:
• Social media (Instagram, Facebook)
• YouTube
• Work with our team to highlight key moments and themes

Requirements

• Experience with photography and/or video (phone or camera is fine)
• Basic editing skills (Canva, CapCut, iMovie, etc.)
• Strong sense of discretion and respect for privacy
• Able to capture emotion and atmosphere without focusing on individuals
• Reliable and able to attend local Tucson events
