Volunteer: Operations Management Framework for a Gwinnett County Nonprofit

About the role

Face Friends Foundation is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Sugar Hill, Georgia. We focus on alleviating food insecurity and reducing health and educational disparities for youth, unemployed adults, and small business owners in the Gwinnett County corridor. As we grow, we need a skilled operations professional to document our core processes so the organization can run consistently without depending on any single individual.

Responsibilities

• Document Face Friends Foundation’s core recurring processes into a concise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual.
• Cover volunteer onboarding, department reporting, task management, platform administration on Bitrix24, and Executive Director communications.
• Ensure the final manual provides every department head and volunteer with a clear, repeatable reference for how work gets done.

Outcomes

The finished SOP manual will transfer institutional knowledge from individual memory into a system, enabling consistent operations regardless of staff availability.
