About the role
This role is within the Hospice Care Team at Hospice of Cincinnati, serving as a Volunteer Office Coordinator. The position supports patients and families during vulnerable times, working closely with nurses, physicians, caregivers, and loved ones.
Responsibilities
- Manage all data base programs to track and calculate volunteer census, hours, and assignments
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports according to Hospice Medicare regulations and JCAHO
- Schedule all Blue Ash IPU direct care, front desk, and clerical volunteers
- Cook up volunteer projects for other HOC departments such as bereavement, marketing, education, corporate administration, and The Foundation
- Act as a resource person to all personnel in the department
Requirements
- High School Degree
- Knowledge of volunteer programs and hospice philosophy
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Up to 1 year experience in a related field
