Volunteer Musician Need at Saint Therese of Avon- Saint Mary of the Woods

Responsibilities

• Assist with music therapy programs
• Provide instrumental background music during mealtimes
• Share music and engage with residents who would benefit from music
• Provide music lessons to residents or lead choir/band

Requirements

• Enjoys sharing music with residents
• Good communication skills and patience
• Interest in developing ongoing relationships with residents
• Demonstrated performance experience via a performance resume or other method.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Able to follow infection prevention and control procedures to minimize risk of disease transmission and maintain health and safety of residents, staff and volunteers
• Able to understand state laws protecting vulnerable adults and reporting mandates
