Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Google Workspace administrative settings, ensuring configurations align with security and operational best practices.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities for on-boarding/off-boarding workflows, including proactive monitoring of sign-in logs and account lockouts.
- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts across organizational systems.
- Provide first-line technical support for volunteers, including login issues, account access, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate records of user accounts, permissions, and technology assets.
- Monitor onboarding progress and proactively follow up with volunteers who have not completed required technology setup.
- Aid in documentation, standard operating procedures, and technology guides.
- Support the implementation and improvement of IT processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to identify technology needs and recommend improvements.
- Help ensure security best practices are followed, including appropriate account management and access controls.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in IT administration, help desk, systems administration, or a related technology role.
- Comfortable administering common cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with careful attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and follow through on commitments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate proactively, provide regular status updates, and respond promptly to requests.
- Passion for supporting nonprofit organizations and working collaboratively with volunteers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing or improving onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Familiarity with identity and access management concepts.
- Experience documenting technical procedures.
- Knowledge of basic cybersecurity and account security best practices.
