Volunteer: Give career advice to a future Screenwriter

About the Opportunity

This is an asynchronous volunteer opportunity where you will answer student questions online about your career as a Screenwriter. Young people want to know what it’s like to work in your field, and you can share your experience right from your desk.

CareerVillage.org is a nonprofit whose mission is to democratize access to career advice for underserved youth. We crowdsource personalized advice for 6 million learners by engaging professionals like you to help answer their questions.

How It Works

• Sign up to answer questions, and we’ll notify you when relevant questions are posted.
• In the time it takes to send an email, you could write advice that impacts thousands of young people.
• Signing up is quick and easy via LinkedIn or email, and we’ll direct only the most relevant questions to you based on your industry.

Who You’ll Help

Underserved high school students, particularly those interested in becoming a Screenwriter.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions from students about your career, experiences, and insights as a Screenwriter.
• Provide advice online when notified of relevant questions.

Time Commitment

• Each response takes about 10 minutes.
