About the Opportunity
This is an asynchronous volunteer opportunity where you will answer student questions online from your desk at any time. Students want to know what it's like to become a college counselor and other career-related topics.
CareerVillage.org is a nonprofit whose mission is to democratize access to career advice for underserved youth. We crowdsource personalized advice for 6 million learners by engaging professionals like you to help answer their questions.
Who You'll Help
- Underserved high school students, especially those interested in becoming a college counselor
Responsibilities
- Answer questions from students about your career and experiences
- Provide personalized advice in the time it takes to send an email (about 10 minutes per response)
Requirements
- Internet connection
- Professional experience in a relevant field (e.g., college counseling)
- Ability to sign up via LinkedIn or email
