Volunteer: Event and Media Contacts Sheet

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. We currently have a contacts list for our events and some media contacts, but we want a better Google Sheet that consolidates all event contacts and media outlets appropriate for sending press releases about our organization. Our current list does not meet our needs for organized press outreach and should be combined into a single, shareable spreadsheet. The volunteer will create and populate a shared Google Sheet that consolidates our event contacts and relevant media outlets for press-release outreach, importing entries from our current list and organizing contacts into a clear, usable layout. We are looking for a volunteer with media relations or public relations expertise to identify appropriate media contacts and structure the sheet for ongoing outreach. We Are Artistic Mission: We Are Artistic is a creative collective, welcoming individuals with a passion for expressing their authentic selves through media, thought, and presentation. We make it easy for artists to connect with one another, whether through our active community or at the in‑person events we host across the DMV. We also offer virtual programming, ensuring creativity can shine from anywhere.
