Job Description
The Ashoka Sport for Changemaking team is looking for a self-driven, collaborative, highly professional individual to contribute Editorial Design to the Reimagining Sport for Good Funding initiative, a flagship, multi-partner effort to transform how sport for good is resourced, governed, and led. The initiative brings together a Systems Change Learning Journey, a funder certificate program, and a sector-wide Survey and Insights Report, moving the sector from fragmented efforts to coordinated, systemic impact.
- As The Editorial Designer, You Will:
- Lead The Editorial Design And Publishing Of The Sector-Wide Survey And Insights Report, One Of The Initiative’s Three Core Pillars.
- Transform Survey Data, Funder And Practitioner Insights, And Stakeholder Stories Into a Visually Engaging, Accessible, And Professional Publication That Will Guide Sector-wide Strategy, Policy, And Collaboration.
- Contribute To Design and lay out the Insights Report, including typography, color schemes, imagery, and data visualization of funding flows and survey findings.
- Ensure content is presented clearly, with a focus on readability and user engagement.
- Collaborate with the Sport for Changemaking team and research volunteer to maintain consistent branding, messaging, and thought-leadership alignment.
- Incorporate storytelling elements to elevate the voices of funders, practitioners, and community leaders driving systemic change.
- Support the preparation of report materials for dissemination, including roundtable discussions and stakeholder presentations.
Volunteer Logistics
Estimated hours required per week: 6 to 10 hours per week

Desired Skills And Experience
- Ability to work independently; meet deadlines and targets in a collaborative, creative working environment
- Experience in editorial, publication, or report design (portfolio required).
- Strong skills and individual access to design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Ability to translate complex information and research into visually compelling layouts.
- Comfortable with social impact trends and innovations
- Familiarity with the sport for good, philanthropic, or funder landscape a plus.
- Proficiency in English.
- Great attention to detail.
