Volunteer: Corporate Sponsorship and Monthly Giving Funnel Copy

About the role

This volunteer opportunity with Play Like a Girl, facilitated by Taproot Foundation, focuses on building a coordinated digital fundraising system to grow corporate sponsorships and a new monthly giving community. The goal is to humanize AI-assisted drafts, strengthen the fundraising case, and create a consistent journey from initial interest to action for three high-priority audience funnels.

Responsibilities

• Refine and finalize copy for:
  • 1 corporate sponsorship funnel
  • 1 monthly giving funnel
  • 1 mentor funnel
• Develop 3 lead magnets or downloadable resources, one for each audience.
• Create 3 audience-specific landing pages.
• Design 1 modular, universal thank-you or confirmation page adaptable across future funnels.
• Write 12-15 automated emails, including 4-6 emails per funnel, with:
  • A primary subject line, alternative subject lines, and preview text
  • Email body and call to action
  • Recommended timing for each email
• Produce a starter set of calls to action and paid-ad messaging for each funnel.
• Develop a reusable funnel-copy template and email-sequence framework for the remaining six audiences.
• Incorporate up to two consolidated revision rounds.

Requirements

• Skilled in nonprofit writing, with the ability to humanize language and strengthen fundraising cases.
• Experience creating conversion funnels, landing pages, and email sequences.
• Ability to establish a reusable model for future projects.
