Overview
Democratism educates the public about making government and other social systems more democratic. Our goal is to restore constitutional governance and create a fair, democratic election system. This role involves building a local coalition to stop an authoritarian takeover and restore the rule of law, starting with the Restore the Constitution Act.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to people and make connections within your community
- Bring organizations and allies into the work
- Work with guidance and support from Democratism
- Learn more about whom to approach through research provided by Democratism
- Part of a small group of volunteers working in different states, sharing experiences and supporting each other
Requirements
- Ready to engage in community outreach and relationship-building
- Open to organizing in your own community
- Willingness to learn and adapt based on guidance and support provided
