Volunteer Caregiver Café Ambassador

Responsibilities

• Plan and host Caregiver Café gatherings.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
• Cook and serve refreshments at cafés.
• Celebrate milestones and milestones for caregivers and their loved ones.
• Foster open, respectful dialogue and ensure all voices are heard.
• Collaborate with Seacoast Dementia Hub staff and volunteers to promote cafés and share feedback.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest and/or experience in dementia care or caregiving.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to complete training.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect boundaries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with older adults, trauma-informed care, or peer support.

Commitment

3–5 hours per month
