Responsibilities
- Plan and host Caregiver Café gatherings.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
- Cook and serve refreshments at cafés.
- Celebrate milestones and milestones for caregivers and their loved ones.
- Foster open, respectful dialogue and ensure all voices are heard.
- Collaborate with Seacoast Dementia Hub staff and volunteers to promote cafés and share feedback.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in dementia care or caregiving.
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to complete training.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect boundaries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with older adults, trauma-informed care, or peer support.
Commitment
3–5 hours per month
