Volunteer: Canva Media Kit

About the role

Volunteer opportunity with Taproot Foundation to create a 4‑page media kit for We Are Artistic, a creative collective that hosts DMV in‑person events and offers virtual programming.

Responsibilities

• Refine and edit provided copy for clarity, tone, and concision; implement finalized text for each page (Organization Overview, Programs Page, Impact Statistics, Media & Contact Page).
• Design layout templates in Canva for each of the four pages using the organization's brand fonts, color palette, and approved images, ensuring clear visual hierarchy and readability.
• Assemble all pages into a single, organized Canva project with editable text boxes, grouped assets, and clear labels/notes so the team can easily update images, statistics, and copy for future events and partnerships.

Requirements

• Experience with Canva design and copywriting.
• Ability to work with brand fonts, color palette, and approved images.
• Skill in refining text for clarity, tone, and concision.
• Capability to create clean, modern, brand‑aligned layouts.
