About the Role

The Volleyball Official is a hands-on role that leads athletes and provides expert instruction during practice. The Official is responsible for delivering the i9 Sports Experience and fostering a positive youth sports culture on the court. After practice, the Official referees best-of-3 games (first two games to 25 points, tie-breaker to 15 if needed).

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values
• Communicate game-day information to players and parents using established platforms
• Maintain a positive attitude and deliver superior customer service
• Referee games

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; ability to work independently
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings for the full season duration (7 weeks)
