About the role
This position involves full automotive troubleshooting, routine inspections, and repairs. Must have own tools and proper credentials including certification of Master Technician with manufacturer.Responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with minimal supervision.
- Establish positive relationships and strive for a high Customer Service Index.
- Stay informed about service techniques, manufacturer’s technical bulletins, and help lines.
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes as mandated by management.
- Advise service advisors if additional work is needed or if specific work outlined is not necessary.
- Supervise work (coach/teach) of less-skilled technicians.
- Maintain clean vehicles and work areas.
- Arrive before designated starting time.
- Maintain a safe working environment according to OSHA/EPA standards.
- Update personal tools to keep up with state-of-the-art equipment and inform the service manager of needed shop tools or repair of tools.
Requirements
- Must have own tools.
- Must have proper credentials including certification of Master Technician with manufacturer.
Qualifications
- Experience with Acura, Honda, Honda Frankfort, Subaru, Mazda, and Volkswagen brands.
- A positive attitude is a must.
