About the role

This position involves full automotive troubleshooting, routine inspections, and repairs. Must have own tools and proper credentials including certification of Master Technician with manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with minimal supervision.
• Establish positive relationships and strive for a high Customer Service Index.
• Stay informed about service techniques, manufacturer’s technical bulletins, and help lines.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes as mandated by management.
• Advise service advisors if additional work is needed or if specific work outlined is not necessary.
• Supervise work (coach/teach) of less-skilled technicians.
• Maintain clean vehicles and work areas.
• Arrive before designated starting time.
• Maintain a safe working environment according to OSHA/EPA standards.
• Update personal tools to keep up with state-of-the-art equipment and inform the service manager of needed shop tools or repair of tools.

Requirements

• Must have own tools.
• Must have proper credentials including certification of Master Technician with manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Experience with Acura, Honda, Honda Frankfort, Subaru, Mazda, and Volkswagen brands.
• A positive attitude is a must.

Pay and Schedule

Pay and sign-on bonus are based on experience and certifications.
