About the role
MeeBoss is sharing this active opportunity on behalf of the hiring company. The VoIP Engineer Level 3 is responsible for installing, configuring, and managing IP and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems for the customer base. This role requires advanced knowledge of VoIP networking systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of internet security. The engineer will design and deploy networking systems, processes, and tools to meet current and future needs.
Location: Brooklyn, NY (On-site)

Responsibilities
- Support, upgrade, design, and deploy enterprise solution architecture for voice and data services.
- Coordinate installations and migrations.
- Provide Level 3 support for customer requests.
- Troubleshoot LAN and WAN hardware systems and respond to customer inquiries.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with technical personnel in the customer base.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate technical needs on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
- Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-10 years of experience.
- Experience with software-based PBXs (Asterisk, FreePBX, Digium, etc.).
- Telecommunications experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to translate complex problems into simple and intuitive solutions.
- Self-motivated, driven, and personable individual.
- Ability to understand technical needs and identify new opportunities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile team environment.
- Quick learner who is adaptive to constant change.
