Voice instructor needed in Sedona, AZ

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Sedona, AZ area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach voice lessons in students' homes, your own home, or your own studio/rehearsal space.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have one of the following: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to teach in-person or via webcam (though most students prefer in-person).
• Experience setting up and running a successful music business.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and schedules.
• Knowledge of music theory and performance.

Pay

You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.

Are you taking any additional COVID-19 precautions?

Though some students are okay to take lessons via webcam, most students are hoping to go to their instructor's studio or have their instructor come to their home. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, & practice social distancing when applicable.
