Voice instructor needed in Kirkland, WA

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Kirkland, WA area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach voice lessons in students' homes, your own home, or your own studio/rehearsal space.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids.
• Loves teaching.
• Previous teaching experience OR formal music training.
• Professional performing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to teach via webcam (though this makes up only a small percentage of our student base).
• Must be able to wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage lesson plans independently.

Benefits

• Independent contractor status with pay ranging from $20-$30 per hour based on travel time, experience, and student retention rate.
• No advertising, marketing, or billing responsibilities.

Pay

• $20-$30 per hour
