Voice instructor needed in Festus, MO

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Festus, MO area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach voice lessons in students' homes, your own home, or your own studio/rehearsal space.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have one of the following: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to teach via webcam (though this makes up only a small percentage of our student base).
• Experience setting up and running a successful online or in-person business.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage your time effectively.
• Knowledge of music theory and performance.

Benefits

• Independent contractor status with pay ranging from $20-$30 per hour based on travel time, experience, and student retention rate.
• No advertising, marketing, or SEO work required.
• All billing handled by the company.
