About the role
We are seeking experienced U.S.-based voice actors, narrators, broadcasters, podcasters, and voice-over professionals to record high-quality American English speech for an advanced text-to-speech and conversational AI project.
You will record a variety of scripts while maintaining clear pronunciation, natural delivery, emotional range, and consistent audio quality.
Responsibilities
- Record conversational, narrative, instructional, commercial, and professional scripts
- Deliver clear, natural, expressive, and human-like American English speech
- Perform multiple takes with different emotions, pacing, emphasis, tone, and delivery styles
- Maintain a consistent voice, accent, pronunciation, and recording quality across sessions
- Follow detailed microphone, environment, file-formatting, and recording guidelines
- Review recordings and re-record sections when needed
- Produce clean audio with minimal background noise, distortion, echo, or clipping
Requirements
- American English speaker
- Professional experience in voice acting, narration, broadcasting, podcasting, dubbing, acting, or a related vocal field
- Strong control of pronunciation, diction, intonation, pacing, emphasis, and emotional expression
- Ability to follow scripts and recording instructions precisely
- Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup
- Quiet and acoustically controlled recording environment
- Reliable availability for approximately 5 to 10 hours per week
Preferred Experience
- Text-to-speech or speech-dataset recording
- AI voice or synthetic speech projects
- Audiobooks, podcasts, commercials, animation, gaming, or documentary narration
- IVR, customer-service, virtual-assistant, or conversational-agent recordings
- Corporate narration, e-learning, explainers, training videos, or instructional content
- Audio editing, cleanup, noise reduction, normalization, and file preparation
- Delivering multiple vocal styles such as conversational, corporate, energetic, calm, warm, authoritative, friendly, dramatic, or instructional
- Maintaining vocal consistency across long or repeated recording sessions
