Vocational Nursing Instructor- Full Time Evenings/Weekends

About the role

We are seeking a Full Time Vocational Nursing Instructor to join our dedicated team. Shifts available include AM and PM, with the potential for additional 10% differential for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses at various times and locations to meet program needs
• Teach both lecture content and clinical rotations (which can occur on weekdays and weekends)
• Review and revise syllabi for specific courses within the program
• Assist with updating and maintaining student files related to clinical requirements, immunizations, and educational requirements
• Maintain student records of attendance, grades, and skills check-off forms
• Participate in professional development to maintain CE hours and renew licensure
• Participate in committees as assigned, prioritizing teaching responsibilities

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current licensure in the state of application
• 3 years bedside experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 6 years experience with an Associate's Degree
• Current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification
• Experience demonstrating current knowledge of nursing practice, mentoring students, and handling day-to-day operations in the nursing lab
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written

Pay

$104K-114,400K/year with a 10% differential for evening/weekend shifts
