VOCATIONAL INSTRUCTOR (ELECTRICAL WORK) (CORRECTIONAL FACILITY)

Job Description and Duties

Vocational Instructor, Electrical Works, implements the California Department of Corrections (CDCR) learning goals and objectives. Works within the policies and practices of the Office of Correctional Education, preparing instruction and assessment aligned with CDCR policies and regulations, as well as the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and partner organizations.

Special Requirements

• Do not include confidential information on any documents submitted.
• Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment.
• Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
