Pay Rate: $17.13/hr - $21.65/hr (Non-Teaching Rate) and up to $28.83/hr (Total Teaching Rate) depending on background and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
  • Increase student count and ensure each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music
  • Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
  • Assist with Customer service as needed to build and maintain long-term students
  • Communicate frequently with students and parents about progress and goals
  • Build trusting relationships with students and families
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field
  • Ability to teach an instrument you are proficient in, such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
  • Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching
  • Customer-first mindset with a passion for providing excellent Customer experience
