Vocal Music Choral Director Upper Elementary Grades 5 & 6

About the role

The Vocal Music Choral Director Upper Elementary Grades 5 & 6 is responsible for leading and developing choral music programs for students in grades 5 and 6.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement choral music curriculum aligned with district standards.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance overall music education offerings.
• Provide vocal training and performance opportunities for students.
• Assist in the selection and preparation of choral repertoire.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field.
• Experience teaching choral music at the elementary level.
• Strong knowledge of vocal pedagogy and choral techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for school events.
