About the role
A newly awarded federal program supporting critical defense cyber and IT operations is standing up its team, and we are hiring 1 opening on it now. Getting in at the start of a contract is the difference between inheriting someone else's work and shaping how the job actually gets done.
What you will do
- Provide Tier II escalation support for VMware virtualization infrastructure — vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN and NSX
- Troubleshoot VM performance, host connectivity, storage and cluster/HA/DRS configuration issues
- Provision, clone, template and decommission virtual machines under change management
- Keep the virtual environment available, secure and audit-ready against federal hardening standards
What you need
- An active Secret clearance
- Security+
- ITIL
- Relevant hands-on experience in the discipline
- Willingness to work on-site in San Diego, CA
Compensation
$75,000 - $87,000 per year, depending on experience and clearance level.
