Responsibilities
- Physically take inventories on schedule of existing customers, obtaining PO to maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Maintain inventory storage areas of existing customers; labeling, organizing and cycling inventory.
- Handle questions about product, prices, availability, and product uses falling within established limits of authority and knowledge.
- Process incoming orders for designated territory. Up-sell when possible & alert territory representative of activities and incoming orders.
- Cook up with the Company’s outside sales representatives to determine customers’ needs and preparation of samples as needed.
- Investigate and expedite product claims and complaints in accordance with company policies and assist to resolve problems and recommend corrective action. Provide ongoing support.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on activities, sales volume, expenses, etc.
Requirements/Qualifications
- A high school diploma, and/or an associate’s degree (preferred) with at least two years related experience and/or training.
- The ability to operate various office equipment to include a computer, voice mail, copier, fax, calculator, and plotter.
- The ability to operate with various software such as word processing, spreadsheets and database.
- The ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
- The ability to manage extensive travel.
