Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction by giving prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service in the Vitamin Department.
• Create and maintain department displays.
• Accurately price all merchandise by stamping, marking, or placing shelf tags and signs throughout the department.
• Use supplement and vitamin knowledge to answer questions and educate customers within proper parameters.
• Be familiar with events and seminars going on or coming up on the calendar.
• Share knowledge of weekly ad items and give customers direction on product location throughout the store.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable, with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Show mutual respect for others and maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts' culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Possess good communication skills and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Be willing to gain education on new products and alternative health.
• Be able to perform repetitious activities, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Physically able to:
  • Stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the entire workday.
  • Lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., from 4” to 72”, for a distance of up to 3 feet for between 10-50 hours without mechanical assistance.
  • Maneuver a utility cart holding 20 lbs., requiring a force of up to 35 lbs., for up to 2 hours, a distance of up to 20 feet.
  • Walk up to 3 miles in an 8-hour shift.
• Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations.
