About the role

As a Store Manager at Primark, you’ll set the store vision and direction, acting as a role model for your team. You’ll drive continuous improvement and maintain a forward-thinking approach to deliver strategic goals, maximize sales, and maintain store standards. By exceeding customer expectations and delivering on Primark’s proposition—maximizing joy and minimum cost—you’ll drive store sales to achieve targets. You’ll impact the business daily by managing inventory, coaching teams to align product movement with customer demand, and driving commercial excellence.

You’ll understand the local market by benchmarking against competitors and using insights to improve store performance. Empowered to drive commercial performance, you’ll achieve sales budgets, maximize departmental sales, and ensure improved in-store availability with a focus on size and option control. You’ll develop your team to build optimal stock levels, maximize visual impact, and own resource planning and scheduling to deliver the right people in the right place at the right time, all within agreed budgets and controllable costs.

• Provide amazing customer service in English and monitor the performance of English-speaking colleagues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a retail Store Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience developing high-performing teams and future leaders.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to analyze reports and guide teams to improve commercial performance.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work to agreed timescales.
• Proven experience empowering and enabling teams to deliver excellent customer service and store standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, to provide instruction, coaching, and lead teams.
• Ability to provide customer service in English and monitor the performance of English-speaking colleagues.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $116,480 - $157,040. This is a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum pay at the time of posting. The base pay rate offered will account for internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
