Visual Merchandiser

About the role
The Visual Merchandiser will work with their General Manager, Visual Merchandising Manager(s), and Director of Retail Visuals to create, implement, and execute all merchandising strategies to increase product effectiveness, brand image, and sell-throughs. The Visual Merchandiser is the store’s storyteller in product merchandising and execution, driving the customer experience through detailed standards and impactful product imagery.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the look and feel of the store and all departments.
- Partners with their General Manager and Visual Merchandising Manager to merchandise the store and update displays daily/weekly.
- Implements and executes all visual merchandising directives communicated from General Manager, Visual Merchandising Manager, and/or the Director of Retail Visuals.
- Leads any visual training/educational moments for the store team.
- Works closely with the stock team to ensure product gets on the floor in a timely manner.
- Conducts weekly walk-throughs with management to analyze how visual moments can be amended or improved to better impact overall business.
- Maximizes the space and layout of the store based on given SKU management.
- Partners with General Manager, Visual Merchandising Manager, and the Director of Retail Visuals to conceptualize new and fresh visual store ideas.
- Assists store management team with housekeeping responsibilities including dusting, sweeping, collection of trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard retail operations.
- Efficiently assists in the execution of cycle counts, physical inventories, or other inventory management tasks as required by the business.
- Travels to support other stores as required by the business.
Requirements
- Open and flexible availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Consistently available to work weekends, special projects, drops/releases, or as the business needs require.
- 2–3 years of management experience in a customer-facing role.
- 2+ years in a merchandising or visual-focused role.
- 1+ year of experience with Google Suite (Slides/Docs/Sheets), preferred but not required.

- Ability to perform standard retail tasks including bending, twisting, and climbing ladders or step stools.

Pay
