Responsibilities
- Maintain part quality through inspection and adherence to procedures.
- Follow operating procedures and fill out necessary paperwork and charts.
- Sort and blue dye incoming product.
- Employee will place hazardous waste (flammable) into satellite accumulation drums.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate knowledge of visual criteria.
- Understand use of finishing quality standards.
- Ability to interpret SOP, QEI’s and visual inspection instructions.
- Willingness and ability to learn and perform new assignments.
- Able to work in a technical environment using math skills.
- Ability to function in a team oriented department with a strong emphasis on productivity.
- Good written, verbal communication, elementary math and organizational skills.
- Able to accept leadership, work with minimal supervision and be self-directed.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
Physical Descriptions
- Standing – 50%
- Walking – 15%
- Sitting – 25%
- Stooping/Bending – 10%
- Lifting: 35 pounds (heavier lifting may occasionally be required)
- Vision: Distant vision – 20/25 (corrected or uncorrected) in at least one eye, and no worse than 20/25 (corrected or uncorrected) when using binocular vision.
