Visual Inspector - CWI

Local/call-out work in South Roxana, IL. Local applicants only.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with CWI standards and ASME.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition to client.
• Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment to ensure safe operation within stated parameters for durations specified by client.
• Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues as required by client.
• Offer technical guidance on the application of non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
• Fully comply with all Acuren and client safe work practices and actively participate in site safety initiatives.
• Willingness to travel if needed.

Requirements

• Certification as a CWI (Certified Welding Inspector).
• 5–10 years’ experience or 2+ years on-site experience.
• Additional certifications (API 653, 510, or 570) are a plus.
• In-depth working knowledge of CWI and ASME standards.
• Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers.

Pay

Pay range is $32.69–$52.88/hr, depending on experience and applicable certifications.
