Visual Effects Supervisor | Remote

About the role

Join a leading AI lab's GenAI team to evaluate and enhance AI-generated visual content. Your expertise will ensure high-quality outputs by identifying and correcting visual inconsistencies and artifacts, contributing to the development of advanced AI models.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate high-resolution video and stills at pixel level, identifying compression artifacts, noise, aliasing, and grain-structure inconsistency.
• Apply an uncompromising focus on intricate details and flag outputs diverging from professional image-quality standards.
• Design and refine evaluation templates and rating guidelines for consistent visual-quality assessment.
• Translate complex visual details into clear, precise descriptive language for data captions and evaluation templates.
• Generate visual samples for targeted testing and side-by-side comparison.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and program leads to maintain visual consistency across sequences and reviewers.

Requirements

• Strong relevant experience in high-end visual evaluation across film, VFX, animation, or professional photography.
• Direct professional experience in disciplines such as VFX Supervisor, Rendering Supervisor, Lighting Supervisor, Colorist, or Cinematographer.
• Training from a respected film, visual effects, or digital media program.
• Reliable access to a 4K-resolution monitor or display for precise evaluation.
• Familiarity with AI tools and workflows, including generating visual samples for testing.
• Fluent in English with exceptional ability to translate complex visual details into clear language.

Pay

$60-$90 per hour
