Visual Designer - HARGROVE

We are looking for a Visual Designer to conceive, create, and produce high-quality designs for medium-complexity projects. This role partners with the Creative and Production teams to fulfill creative deliverables and reports to the Associate Creative Director, Design and Graphics or higher.

Responsibilities

• Independently conceptualize and craft high-quality designs for medium-complexity/high-volume media projects, including custom screen surfaces (LED & projection), digital/social/mobile applications, print (regular & large-format), presentations (PPT & Keynote), and video creation.
• Generate clear ideas, concepts, and designs for creative assets from beginning to end.
• Design and execute event branding and logo development.
• Develop creative deliverables based on client company brand guidelines and event brand guides.
• Create Speaker presentations from high-level concepts to detailed PowerPoint and Keynote designs.
• Communicate regularly with Creative Producers on the status of all events.
• Work closely with the Creative team to implement the visual style and tone for each project.
• Manage timelines for overlapping, fast-turnaround projects and prioritize requests to hit critical deadlines.
• Organize and manage shared media assets, ensuring integrity and accessibility for the team.
• Demonstrate proficiency in creative software and troubleshoot independently.
• Organize and maintain workstation and back up files as appropriate.
• Attend creative presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster and maintain a positive work environment.
• Adhere to project schedules and deadlines, providing deliverables in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Produce high-quality work that meets internal and external client standards.
• Translate Creative Direction effectively into assigned projects and deliverables.
• Communicate proactively with the ACD, Producer, and team members about project concerns or red flags.
• Maintain timely communications via email, team chat, or phone, especially when working remotely.
• Work on multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
• Keep all project data and timesheet information up to date in Project Management software.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in graphic design preferred.
• 3+ years of graphic design experience.
• A portfolio displaying a solid understanding of design and typography across a range of media.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of graphic design, print design/layout, web design, and development.
• Understanding and appreciation of the importance of branding.
• Full proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Working knowledge of generative AI design tools.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint/Keynote presentation design and template understanding.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within a larger creative team and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage all projects in current PM software, ensuring it is always up-to-date and correct.
• Follows current Encore Creative Production Process.

Work Environment

Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore.

Pay

Salary pay range: $74,679.00 - $91,482.00. The compensation offered is determined based on qualifications, location, relevant work experience, and particular skills. Some positions may be eligible for overtime, bonuses, or incentives.
