Visual Content Creator (Part-time)

About the role

The Visual Content Creator is responsible for designing, filming, and editing high-quality multimedia assets to elevate a brand's digital presence. This role bridges the gap between marketing strategy and creative execution by producing high-performing visuals that drive audience engagement.

Responsibilities

• Shoots and edits high-quality photos and short-form videos (Instagram stories and reels, Video Shorts).
• Creates digital ads, social media graphics, and brand-consistent templates in addition to general print and marketing design.
• Supports team development of unique visual concepts, script ideas, and maps out storyboards.
• Monitors digital platform trends to quickly produce relevant, viral-ready content.
• Partners with the marketing and brand teams to ensure all visuals align with broader campaign goals.
• Maintains and organizes the internal media library of photos, videos, and design files.
• Recruitment Marketing: Design, monitor and support multi-platform digital campaigns to meet division goals.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or similar field.
• Experience: Two years of professional experience in video production, graphic design, or content creation.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills; Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator); Hands-on experience operating professional camera gear, studio lighting, and audio equipment; Deep understanding of platform-specific aspect ratios, formats, and best practices; A diverse portfolio demonstrating strong visual storytelling and editing capabilities.

Physical Requirements

The employee must possess the cognitive abilities necessary to learn, recall, interpret, and apply relevant practices, policies, laws, and procedures. The employee may occasionally be required to exert up to 25 pounds of force and exert negligible amounts of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Pay

Salary Level: Banded Rates: Band 10; Salary Scale: https://www.lcps.org/compensation; Salary Range: $29.17/hour.
