Responsibilities
- Identify common learning targets using standards (CCSS, SELS, Language)
- Develop daily and weekly plans to support student growth
- Create common year-long/course plans with essential questions and resources
- Establish clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects
- Provide daily opportunities for students to describe their reasoning and receive feedback
- Analyze data and adjust instruction based on student achievement
- Meet with parents/guardians to discuss student progress
- Collaborate with peers to reflect on student achievement and teacher practice data
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching license in Art (550/1550)
- Official transcripts required for formal employment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and work in various environments
- Manual dexterity necessary for completing tasks
- Ability to work under generally safe and comfortable conditions
