Responsibilities

• Aid in executing research activities that align with the quantum research goals and deliverables of the Department.
• Collect, organize, and perform preliminary analysis of data pertinent to project objectives.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of research findings and prepare reports for publication.
• Collaborate with faculty, students, and other research staff to support various projects.
• Support the organization of scientific activities within the Department of Physics, particularly in the realm of quantum research.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in quantum optics research and fundamental physics, evidenced by a publication track record.

Pay

The annual base range for this position is $12,000 - $12,000. Stevens Institute of Technology determines compensation based on factors including the position's scope and responsibilities, the candidate's experience, education, skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational considerations. The final salary will be set considering departmental budget, qualifications, and relevant credentials.
