About the role

The visiting professor will provide exemplary representation to the Clinic’s clients and provide feedback and close supervision to second and third-year student attorneys engaged in direct representation of those clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal representation to clients facing environmental and public access issues.
  • Supervise and mentor second and third-year student attorneys.
  • Contribute to the educational mission of the clinic by teaching and mentoring students.
  • Engage in research and writing related to environmental law.

Requirements

  • Current active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Experience in environmental law or a related field.
  • Commitment to serving low-income individuals, community groups, and environmental organizations.
  • Ability to work closely with students and collaborate with faculty members.

  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
