About the role
The Oklahoma State University’s College of Arts and Sciences seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor of Political Science to teach sections of POLS 1113: American Government as a member of their Cowboy Concurrent Academy faculty.
Responsibilities
- Teach three courses per semester
- Participate in professional development and service
- Be ready to teach online-asynchronous and in-person courses
- Report to the respective academic unit but coordinate closely with Academic Programs in the College of Arts and Sciences
- Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience
Requirements
- Master's degree for Visiting Instructor
- PhD for Visiting Assistant Professor
Qualifications
- Earned master’s degree in the relevant discipline
- Evidence of successful in-person and online teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and collaborate with students and colleagues
