General Description / Primary Purpose
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking a 9-month, non-tenure earning, Visiting Instructor of Mathematics and Statistics. Position responsibilities include teaching 12 credit hours per semester. This position will be a 1-year appointment with a 9-month contract.
Job Functions
- Teaching 12 credit hours per semester
- Teaching undergraduate courses such as introduction to mathematics, statistics, and upper division courses based upon the candidates expertise
Required Qualifications
- At least a masters in mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Education, or related area
- At least 18 graduate credits hours in mathematics or Statistics
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- Strong interest and ability in teaching undergraduate courses such as introduction to mathematics, statistics, and upper division courses based upon the candidates expertise
