School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (Departments of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacy and Health System Sciences)

About The Opportunity

The School of Nursing in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University has developed a research-intensive/teaching/learning environment for students and faculty. Creating an environment where students thrive begins with the faculty. The School of Nursing faculty are a committed group of professionals who are highly qualified, nationally known, and characterized by a range of experiences in nursing practice, research, and education.

The ultimate goal is to advance the School of Nursing’s position to one of the nation’s top research schools of nursing.

The wide range of programs offered by the School of Nursing from baccalaureate through DNP and PhD degrees highlights the responsiveness of the school to the healthcare needs of individuals and communities in the state, nation, and globally.

The Opportunity

The School of Nursing invites applications for full-time (52 week) Visiting Assistant or Associate Clinical Non-Tenure Track faculty positions with anticipated start date in July 2026, or until the position is filled.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
  • Conducting an independent and externally funded research program
  • Participating in departmental, college, and university service

Qualifications

  • Possess a terminal degree in Nursing or related field, or matriculate into a terminal degree program before or immediately following appointment
  • Evidence of an established area of research and scholarship, teaching excellence, and demonstrated excellence and commitment to supporting faculty, staff, and student environments
  • Preference for the eligibility for RN licensure in Massachusetts
