Vision System Technician

About the role

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Vision System Technician to join our team in Northbrook, Illinois. This position involves setting up and changing vision systems, conducting maintenance and calibration, troubleshooting, optimizing systems, documenting procedures, and providing training.

Responsibilities

• Setup and Changeovers: Efficiently set up and perform changeovers of vision systems as required, coordinating with the production team for timely setups.
• Maintenance and Calibration: Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and performance checks on vision systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify and resolve issues with vision systems using diagnostic tools and methodologies, working with vendors and OEMs as necessary.
• System Optimization: Optimize vision systems to enhance performance, accuracy, and efficiency, collaborating with engineering and production teams.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, maintenance schedules, changeover procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and team members on the operation, changeover, and maintenance of vision systems.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of technological advancements and industry trends in vision systems to recommend and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of vision systems.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and methodologies.
• Experience with vision system setup and changeovers.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Ability to stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

Pay and Benefits
