Virtualization Engineer / Administrator Level 2 with Security Clearance

About the role

RiVidium Inc. is seeking a Virtualization Engineer/Administrator - Level 2 to support and optimize enterprise virtual infrastructure utilizing VMware technologies. The successful candidate will assist with virtualization operations, system maintenance, performance optimization, backup and recovery, automation, and infrastructure security.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure environments
• Provision and administer virtual machines
• Monitor system performance and resolve infrastructure issues
• Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities
• Implement automation and security hardening solutions
• Support backup and recovery operations using Cohesity and Veeam
• Assist with Windows and Linux server administration
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure improvements

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance eligibility
• 3–5 years of virtualization engineering or administration experience
• VMware vSphere expertise
• Experience with backup and recovery technologies including Cohesity and Veeam
• Knowledge of scripting and automation
• Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments
• CompTIA Security+ and DoD 8570 IAT II certification required
