About the role

The FCS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2011 and located at 5204 Paylor Lane in Sarasota, Florida. The Foundation assists cancer patients across the state of Florida. Due to the generosity of the Florida Cancer Specialists partner physicians in covering all overhead expenses for the Foundation, 100% of donations received go directly towards paying the essential non-medical living expenses of adults battling cancer.

Responsibilities

• Answer and follow-up calls using Google Voice (Training & Set-up Provided)
• Assist with answering questions and communicating with patients applying for grant assistance
• Assist with written correspondence, letters, emails and other related correspondence

Requirements

• Volunteers must be 18 years old with a valid driver's license
• Complete background check
• Spanish speaking
• Commitment of three to six hours per week for at least 6 months
