About the role
The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, offering world-class, convenient, evidence-based medical care to patients in collaboration with their primary care providers. Through advanced technology and a team-based approach, we provide care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our team is united by intellectual curiosity, inclusiveness, and a powerful mission: transforming healthcare and bringing world-class primary care to everyone.
This is a seasonal W2 position from August to February 2027, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. You will work 2 full rotating A/B weekends per month (Saturday and Sunday) and support 2 of 4 company-observed holidays (Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day).
Responsibilities
- Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
- Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
- Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
- Utilizing your specific clinical training to provide exceptional virtual care
Requirements
- Completion of a master’s degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS) and active NCCPA certification
- Current CA licensure with the possibility to obtain additional state licenses
- In the past 5 years, at least 2 years of practice as an Advanced Practitioner in either:
- An outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), or
- An urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Ability to work afternoons and evenings (shifts range from 7 AM–6 PM PST or 11 AM–10 PM PST)
- Excellent clinical and communication skills with the ability to follow established clinical protocols and workflows

- Friday: 7 AM–6 PM Pacific (1-hour break)
- Saturday: 7 AM–6 PM Pacific (1-hour break)
- Sunday: 7 AM–6 PM Pacific (1-hour break)

Pay
Compensation for this position is $80 per hour.
