Virtual Physician

About the role

A licensed physician is sought to provide high-quality virtual care across multiple states, focusing on addiction, weight management, and general telehealth services. The role offers full flexibility to work remotely, with an emphasis on patient assessments, medical history reviews, prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborating with a support team to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate, patient-centered virtual care
• Ordering and interpreting lab tests
• Prescribing medications within scope
• Collaborating with healthcare team members
• Maintaining thorough medical records
• Staying informed on telehealth best practices and medical advancements
• Adapting to telemedicine platforms and EMRs

Requirements

• Active medical license in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states (licensing support provided)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person care
• At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL if needed
• Availability for a minimum of 15 core hours weekly across four days
