Virtual Metrology Engineer

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is a leading innovator in advanced semiconductor technology, dedicated to creating devices that power tomorrow's innovations. As a Virtual Metrology Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize new Virtual Metrology recipes for Feed-Forward and Feedback APCs.
• Use big data to identify the best manufacturing paths combinations to reduce yield variabilities.
• Derive new indices for dynamic and optimal run paths control.
• Expertise in Data Analysis (Statistics, Design of Experiments - DOE).
• Knowledge of Metrology measurement techniques (THK, CON, OCD, CD, VM, IM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Systems Analysis.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Able to prioritize large workloads on a daily basis (multitasking).
• Experience with FAB automation, unit parts' processes, and reporting systems.
• Experience with Spotfire, JMP, or other analytics tools is a plus.
• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Pay

The current base salary range for this role is between $76,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications, and experience.
