Virtual Math Instructor (Part -Time)

This is a part-time position.

Class Schedules

• Late afternoons to evenings Monday through Friday (4pm ET - 10pm ET)
• All day on Sundays (10am ET - 9pm ET)
• Summer camps Mon-Fri between June and August (1.5 or 3 hours per day)

Responsibilities

• Teach enthusiastic elementary, middle, and high school students in our online classrooms
• Use our curriculum to teach participation-oriented classes that focus on instruction and developing skills, not on rote memorization
• Work in small classes (average size 12) with top performing students who are passionate about learning and are motivated to succeed

Requirements

• A solid academic background in mathematics
• A bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required
• A master's degree or higher in a STEM field is preferred
• Experience using Zoom or similar video conferencing software and being comfortable managing a classroom in a virtual setting
• Experience teaching or tutoring students at the K-12 level
• Some experience working with advanced students is preferred
