About the role

As a Virtual Infection Prevention Specialist, you will conduct outbound calls to current and prospective customers to sell Solventum products and qualify leads. You will respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing information about products or services, identifying customer needs, and recommending appropriate solutions. This role involves maintaining accurate records of customer interactions in Salesforce.com, collaborating with the field sales team, and developing strategies to achieve sales targets. You will demonstrate procedural, clinical, and technical product knowledge to meet customer needs, follow up on leads, close sales, and achieve daily metrics and monthly quotas. Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to current and prospective customers to sell Solventum products and qualify leads.
• Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing information about products or services.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions with customers in Salesforce.com.
• Collaborate with the field sales team and other internal resources to develop strategies for achieving sales targets.
• Demonstrate a proficient level of procedural, clinical, and technical product knowledge to identify products that meet customer needs.
• Follow up on leads and prospects to nurture relationships and move them through the sales pipeline.
• Close sales and achieve daily metrics and monthly quotas.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
• Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while performing assigned duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 1 year of sales experience, OR Associate Degree AND 3 years of sales experience.
• Previous experience in sales, preferably in healthcare or inside sales.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to stay on tasks and maintain high productivity levels while working remotely.
• Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Work Location & Travel

This is a remote position available in AZ, NM, NV, or UT. Travel may include up to 10% domestic. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $81,600 - $112,200, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
