Virtual Hiring Event: Registered Nurse (RN) & LPN – Med Surg, Med Neuro & Oncology
About the role
Beacon Health System is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for various units including Medical Surgical (Med Surg), Medical Neurology (Med Neuro), and Oncology at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, Indiana. Positions are available with different shifts and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and effective patient care
- Assist with diagnostic tests and treatments
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Current licensure as an RN or LPN in the state of Indiana
- Experience in acute care settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills for electronic health records (EHR)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred for RNs
- Completion of a licensed practical nursing program
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams
