Virtual Care Veterinarian (Remote)

About the role

Provide veterinary care remotely to pets in need across various locations including Portland, ME; Washington D.C.; Maine; Bangor, ME; Ellsworth, ME; Baltimore, MD; Hagerstown, MD; Salisbury, MD; Maryland; Boston, MA; Pittsfield, MA; Springfield, MA; Providence, RI; Warwick, RI; and Woonsocket, RI.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of pet medical conditions remotely using telemedicine tools.
• Prescribe medications and provide treatment plans based on consultations with clients.
• Communicate with clients via phone, video calls, and messaging platforms to discuss pet health concerns.
• Document patient visits and treatments in electronic health records.

Requirements

• A valid veterinary license.
• Experience with remote veterinary care.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in using telemedicine software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology.
• Experience with common pet illnesses and treatments.
